WATCH THE SHOW YOU COWARDS, I DARE YOU!!

no, but honestly.. give this show a chance. Nick’s been treating the show real bad for putting it on Nicktoons after the low rating they got (ye know, after how people just casually hating the show over a new different concept with different art style).

the show is honestly perfect and it’s a DAMN shame to ignore their existence. we all can see how the crew put care, love and tons of hard works onto the show by at least looking at it..

Holy shit, 12.000+ Notes in just a night! we might able to save this show after all…

okay hear me this, i saw people questioning about ROTTMNT and i would love to talk about more of it further just so people start watching the show with us dorks.

First off, “the characters are all the same” / “ they’re all acting like Mikey but worse” yeah no, they’re acting like a couple of teenagers. The boys never really got exposed to Ninja-ing stuff from Splinter, and thus the name RISE from. You’ll see them growing each episode, trust me.

“Leo’s not a leader!” / “Why is Raph the leader and not Leo”

in this version, Raph is the Oldest while Leo is the second youngest. naturally, Raph has to lead his younger siblings like how older sib would do.

and honestly, it gives more of the new Dynamics into the whole group. Leo ain’t as depressing like he used to be in other incarnations and has his own moment to be a laid back teenager. BUT, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a leadership material ;)

“Why are their weapons changed?” it’s not like this is the first time they have a different weapons, you guys should really stop nitpicking over some little stuff.

“What’s with the new powerups?” Watch the first 2 episodes and you’ll got your answer

how about the voice acting. don’t even get start, the casting is amazing to begin with. ( w/ Rob Paulsen as the voice director )

Omar Miller (Ballers) will play the oldest brother Raphael, Ben Schwartz (Parks & Recreation) is the self-professed ‘coolest’ brother Leonardo, Josh Brener (Silicon Valley) portrays Donatello, an unflappable mechanical genius and tech wizard, Brandon Mychal Smith (You’re The Worst) is the youngest brother Michelangelo, an artist and awesome skateboarder, and Kat Graham (The Vampire Diaries) plays April O’Neil, a street savvy native New Yorker. Eric Bauza (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) also joins the cast as Splinter, both father figure and sensei to the Turtles

“Splinter is ugly” let me just say this, don’t judge book by it’s cover. He actually have his own arc where we could understand more about him :D

“does the animation looks as great as the clips above?” Yes it is! the whole show is filled with S+ animation quality. even great, the animation looks even better and better each episode it’s INSANE.

and April? she’s damn amazing, period. She’s part of the action and really involves with the group as their big sister..

Support the show any way you can so Nickelodeon knows this show deserves better.

Some thoughts on acceleration and force

I presented this in the order of how I slowly understood the trick of delivering force - first an abstract concept of impact taught by Ah Fai, then a more complicated discovery on the acceleration pattern, last back to a more abstract concept of breakdowns.

Like I’ve previously stressed, 2D animation is everything but one single approach. There’s no one rule that rules them all, but interchangeable ideas with math, or physics, or music, etc. There’s no “perfect” animation either, but what is perceived as organic and dynamic. E.g., using the Fibonacci numbers to animate didn’t bring me a perfect animation! On the other hand, a tiny change in the pattern could already make the feeling of force so much more powerful.

Not so much of a tutorial than a personal experience. I hope you find this interesting hahaha

There is the “Top secret files” comic that introduces us viewers to the show : the Delightful Children From Down The Lane find the secret files written by the P.T.O.O.E.Y. . There is information on each member of Sector V : their names, where they’re from, random facts…
